Pullups for Playgrounds is BACK - and this year, it’s BIGGER, BOLDER, and built for even MORE IMPACT. With a fresh format, we’re making it easier than ever for everyone to show up, pull up, and power up a cause that matters.
At its core, this challenge isn’t just about how many pullups you can do - it’s about what we can build together. Every rep brings us closer to creating more NinjaFit Playgrounds - free, community-based spaces where kids, teens and even adults can train, grow stronger, and experience the confidence-building fun of ninja and obstacle course racing together.
We’re already three-quarters of the way to funding our next playground in The Berkshires, MA, but we need your help to cross the finish line! Help us create a FREE, accessible outdoor space where whole families can move, connect and grow through overcoming obstacles together!

Register for just $10.

Create your fundraising link so people can donate directly to you!

Compete for pullup prizes by doing as many strict pull-ups as you can in 10 minutes (there will be an option for banded pullups too - keep reading)!
We'll have prizes for top 3 individuals who complete the most pull-ups in each division - Kids M & F (age 6 -12), Teens M & F (ages 13 - 17), Adult M & F (18+), Masters M & F (40+) , Open division will be offered by request - please email info@neighborhoodninjas.org

You can do this ANY time from 10/1 - 10/31, so get your team together before and after class and do some pullups for playgrounds together!

Fundraise! Ask friends, family, and local businesses to donate or pledge per pull-up that you do or think you can do. There will also be prizes for the top three individuals AND top three gyms that raise the most money, AND for EVERY $100 you raise, you’ll also get a free Spartan Race code!

Submit Your Score:

Record your full attempt—showing full extension at the bottom and chin above the bar at the top.

Submit your video to info@neighborhoodninjas.org with the number of pullups you think you did to qualify for pullup prizes.

📏 Official Rules

Form Standards:
-
Full extension at the bottom of each rep and chin must pass clearly above the bar at the top
-
No kipping or swinging
-
Bands are allowed but 5 banded pullups = 1 regular pullup.

Time Limit: 10 minutes (you can drop and rest as needed but make sure you restart from a deadhang!)

Judging: Reps verified via video. No-reps won't count!

Fundraising: All donations go straight to building our next NinjaFit Playground! Let’s show the world the impact our community can have when we come together!
