The First
Obstacle Playground
in the Berkshires!
Neighborhood NInjas is proud to be working alongside the Town of Lee and the Lee Youth Commission to build a unique, exciting and free public obstacle-based playground. Crafted by Neighborhood Ninjas’ expert team of Ninja athletes, coaches, and course designers, the NinjaFit playground is designed with both youth and adults in mind and will feature a series of challenging and dynamic obstacles designed to capture the excitement of American Ninja Warrior fans and Obstacle Course Racers alike. It is the first adult fitness playground to be designed by a team of athletes and coaches who have competed on the hit NBC show, American Ninja Warrior.
We aim to create fun, free, safe and accessible play spaces that create community, connection and active lifestyles for whole families. This type of playground is also appealing for those with different sensory needs, encourages creative problem solving through play, and can help develop growth mindset through play.Upon completion, Neighborhood Ninjas will host a variety of free community workshops, classes, and competitions to encourage physical activity and personal development. These programs are especially designed to help youth and young adults improve physical and mental health, social-emotional skills, growth mindset, and community. The NinjaFit Playground will be a space where community members of all ages can connect and engage in free, obstacle-based fitness.
We are excited to invite you to an upcoming fundraiser event happening Saturday, 2/15 from 5:30 - 8pm at Greenock Country Club! We have a really fun night planned, including a full meal, live music, Ninja Warrior celebrity guests, a silent auction and more! Tickets are just $65 and proceeds benefit the NinjaFit Playground Project, being led by The Lee Youth Commission and the nonprofit Neighborhood Ninjas.
Tickets can be purchased at www.givebutter.com/ninjafitdinner. Additionally, anyone who sponsors (or commits to sponsoring) an obstacle prior to the event will receive free tickets, a half page ad in the dinner program, and a special sponsor spotlight and award at the dinner.
